About Debbie Bennett, Tresurer
Debbie moved to Red Bluff with her family around 1965.  Her family was very active in breeding and showing Arabian horses, this provided her with a lot of wonderful opportunities to travel and compete.  After she graduated from Red Bluff Union High School she attended Shasta Junior College and took secretarial and accounting classes but soon went on the road to follow her dreams of being a professional horse trainer.  Moving to Las Vegas, Nevada she and three other ladies started the first all female training stable.  In 1977 she returned home to work in the family business and start her own family.

She is the mother of four beautiful daughters and two wonderful granddaughters.  After loosing her beloved husband to cancer in 2004 she went to work for Tehama County Elections and is now working as Assistant Recorder for the Tehama County Clerk & Recorders department.  Debbie got involved with PATH through another board member, Christine Shults, who is also her Aunt.  Christine came to her and asked if she would be interested in becoming the Treasurer for the organization.  She jumped at the chance to hold this position and is very grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.  Being the newest board member she is continually amazed by the staff and volunteers of this wonderful organization and feels very privileged to be a part of PATH.
